The Saint Alphonsus Cancer Care Center received their third "3 year with Commendation" Accreditation Award from the American College of Surgeons in October 2009. This award acknowledges the Cancer Center's steadfast commitment to providing the best care possible for our cancer patients and our community.

This award places the Cancer Center among the top half of cancer programs surveyed nationwide. The Cancer Care Center was noted to be particularly strong in prevention and early detection through an outstanding outreach program and outstanding cancer related improvements implemented each year.
